“Amy Blanding sings with conviction and soul. She delivers songs that tell stories that remind us of what is good.” Kym Gouchie, Juno-nominated Indigenous musician

"As a songwriter, Amy brings a unique perspective; growing up on the east coast and making a home out west, her songs bring a real sense of place to the listener, contributing to the well established canon of Canadian musical troubadours." Fraser Hayes, Artistic Director, Coldsnap Music Festival; General Manager, Canmore Folk Festival

“Seemingly, the greatest theme of [Down the Line] is respecting the humanity in the listener and the artist, a feat that is as inseparable from Amy as her music.” Thimbleberry magazine, July 2019

"Amy is a dynamic presence on stage, a talented songwriter with a passion for using her music to facilitate positive change. Her versatility as a musician is truly impressive. I've witnessed her captivating performances as a solo artist, as a skilled session player, as a band member of Checkdown Charlie and Reckless Burning, and as a featured soloist alongside Kym Gouchie and Rachelle van Zanten for 'PG Symphony Sessions: Shun uts'utejun' with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra in April 2023. More recently, I've seen her shine at events like 'Northern Hospitality' (May 2024), the release of Kym Gouchie's JUNO-nominated album, Shun Beh Nats'ujeh (October 2024), Coldsnap Music Festival (February 2025), and the "Let's Hear It BC" pre-JUNOs event in Prince George (March 2025). Whether backstage or in the audience, I have enjoyed Amy’s music for over a decade." Katherine Benny, Coldsnap Music Festival
